Feeling Accomplished!
I have officially finished my Christmas shopping, although I am still waiting for a couple of orders to come in.
I flew through my goal of six quilts completed by the end of the year. I have now officially completed 9 and have just sent two off to Missouri Star Quilt Company to have quilted. Because of the holidays, I don’t expect to have those two back before the end of the year so I’ll have a leg up on my goals for 2018.
Here is the quilt I made for my oldest son. It is now hanging in his living room between two guitars.
I’ve also completed a few quilt tops since my last post. First is a little Christmas quilt that I hope to have quilted in the next couple of weeks.
And the second, and my favorite, is the Rainbow Cascade quilt designed by Jennifer Ofenstein at Sewhooked.com.
The third is a little rail fence quilt in purples which is one of the two I sent to Missouri Star for quilting (I didn’t take a picture before sending it); the other is the blue and yellow quilt top I showed you in the last post.
I have other news, but it is not of a quilty nature and I’ll save it for the next post.
